English language challenges
The experience during this year learning
English has been very good, I was able to increase my vocabulary regarding
various topics with the use of blogs. Making blogs has also helped me to
express myself on various topics using another language, different from the one
I use daily, improving my confidence when using English to express myself.
During the course of the subject, we had to
make videos that helped improve other skills, such as speaking. At the time of
doing these activities I noticed that I need to improve my pronunciation and
writing skills in English. One way that occurs to me to improve this is by
reading texts that are in English aloud and thus be able to practice my
pronunciation, in addition to being able to further expand my vocabulary by
identifying words that I do not know, to later look up their meaning and thus
better understand the information that I am reading in addition to increasing
my knowledge in vocabulary.
Outside of English classes I use English a lot,
for example: To read certain articles about artists that I like, or when I
watch movies, I enjoy watching them in their original language much more, which
is often in English, this has also allowed to learn English outside of class.
Also, I usually listen to music in English, so many times when reading the
lyrics of these songs I use my knowledge of the language to understand the
lyrics. Also, in the context of the university we have often had to carry out
research using papers and documents that are in English.
This course helped me a lot to improve my
English skills and I hope to be able to use what I was taught to improve little
by little.

In the research works everything is in English, in this way new words are learned.
